Winfrasoft was founded in 2005 to solve a specific class of enterprise security problem: making complex identity and access infrastructure workable for the organisations that actually have to run it. Two decades on, that mission is unchanged — but the technology landscape has shifted several times, and so have we.
The company earned its reputation building authentication and infrastructure security products for the Microsoft platform — first supporting Forefront TMG, UAG, and ISA Server estates, then extending into pattern-based multi-factor authentication with Authlogics PINgrid, which was spun out in 2015. Authlogics was acquired by Intercede Group plc in 2023.
Today, Winfrasoft is a focused independent software vendor developing the next generation of identity and security products. Our customer base spans enterprises, government departments, and the NHS across twenty-seven countries, with an end-user reach in the millions.

HP-based Forefront TMG and UAG appliances with hardened Winfrasoft software image. Deployed into BP, Shell, Ferrari, NHS and central government estates.
Smartcard-based single sign-on solution built specifically for NHS Trusts, using CfH-procured CALs and NHS CRS Smartcards.
Pattern-based multi-factor authentication invented and brought to market. Recognised with the SC Magazine Award in 2013.
Authentication IP spun out into Authlogics Ltd. Speaking engagements at KuppingerCole EIC, EEMA/OASIS, and later the FIDO Alliance Authenticate Summit.
Recognised at International Elite 100 — Password Compliance Specialist of the Year (Global). Transition to MFA Product Director at Intercede until 2025.
